I have a print of that photo hanging on my wall. But just because the photo is famous or because some guy made the same mistake in a blog posting four years ago doesn't somehow make it fine to conflate ironworkers and steelworkers. They're two different occupations.

Perhaps, whatever, but the tone of your original correction to Goldie certainly brings to mind another dictionary definition:

Pedantic: "narrowly, stodgily, and often ostentatiously learned"

Very exciting for me! This new journey down the road of construction photography is fascinating. I've always been interested in construction but never thought of turning my camera lens to it.
These two photos are of a rigger at the Union Station site.
