Crate & Barrel or subway entrance all sound great. It's such a high profile spot it doesn't make sense it's empty. I remember it being an Adventure Electronics (or Majestic?).

Majestic became Adventure. The whole chain went belly-up around 1999 or 2000?

They recently put makeshift little signs up so that UPS trucks could find the place.

This would have been perfect for a Crate & Barrel, who I believe are planning some downtown locations. Destination-type flagship stores should be vying for space and visibility in this area, and this building definitely has lots of potential for reno.

Shoe stores have failed here in the recent past, but they were pretty crap in the first place, so I hope Strata does well.
