There are quite a few palm trees in Windsor, around the casino, the waterfront park, and in the median on some streets. They're the smaller more hardy type similar to what you see on the west coast. I asked my friend who lives in Windsor what they do with them in the winter, he said they probably just wrap them up and plant new ones if they die over the winter.
