I hardly consider Yonge and Eglinton suburban Toronto. Canadian Tire head office is just to the south of us.

The neighbourhood actually has more to offer than some downtown neighbourhoods.
If you're up for a stroll on the weekends, it's always worth the walk to the bakeries on Mt. Pleasant and Bayview.
