A new anthem for T.Dot

It's in our DNA to cringe at attempts at self-promotion. But you know what? While I'm neutral on this track I like how there is this theme of Toronto promotion and bolsterism in the Hip Hop community. The irony is that while Toronto is accused of being overly or offensively self-confident in Canada we are too reserved by international standards.

Doesn't hurt that she's a total fox either. Kudos to the director for being able to make Toronto actually look slightly exotic - a gargantuan task indeed!
 
all a city needs is a good lense and a person to put it to good use. any city of relative size can look good in the summer... people who think that all european cities are automatically beautiful because of their geographic location should actually go to those places. concrete, smog, trees, and asphalt look the same everywhere. it's how you frame the cityscape is what is important.
 
Here's the video for Kardinal Offishall's - The Anthem. It shows alot of Toronto from York U. to Yonge and Dundas etc.

A dull, soulless, auto-tuned dance song that appeals to the 905 set. Very Toronto indeed. Lol. x

'Real figures here; never seen an Eskimo'. That's goes to show how sophisticated Toronto isn't. Insult the northern half of the country (Inuit, not Eskimo) in an attempt to show how 'great' we are? Dumb.
