A neat experiment in photography

Take one Wollensak 35mm F5.0 Cine-Velostigmat hand cranked cinema camera lens ( circa 1908)

modify the mount to fit a Canon 5D like so:

and you get this:

All of the shots are raw and unmodified.

It should be easy to use this technique to make a digital 'pinhole' camera as well - no lens required!

For those who have a new gen. iPod Touch or iPhone there's a few apps. that can create images like this including the highly rated, "Hipstamatic".
