Here's one we've missed so far.
East of Bathurst, Village Gate runs south from Steeles down to Greenwin Village Road. Fronting on those three streets is the Marcher Towers, an oddly pluralized name for a single 15-storey white brick slab apartment building that's been around for 40+ years now. In 2014, owner Gull Construction applied to add density to the site with some infill buildings, and over the past two years they have gradually refined the proposal through the planning process, attempting to eliminate concerns of both the Planning Department and the locals. Everything worked out now, they're now looking for rezoning approval from the City.
What's proposed is a single-storey retail commercial building fronting Steeles and Village Gate to the east of the existing tower (no image), and 2 groups of stacked townhomes (28 units) and a 10-storey condominium tower (116 suites with 8 more townhomes in the podium at grade) fronting on Greenwin Village.
Looks like a pretty good intensification of a tower-in-the-park site to me!
