Anyone know anything about that abandoned Government of Ontario building down there? I think it's 888 Bay...the squat 6-or-so story building just behind the trees int hat last shot.

That's 880 Bay St.

The site likely won't see any changes in the immediate future.

Eventually, it will likely be an office tower which will be used to consolidate government offices.

It would be extremely unlikely that the Ontario government would sell the property because it would make the OPP's security tougher by breaking up the block.

Whoa. I remember the days when 1001 Bay used to really stand out when looking east from Kings College Cr. Thank goodness those days are over.

I wonder what the ground level/retail will be like for this one along Bay. There seems to be no indication in the renderings.

The nicest looking building on Bay street

Definitely a nice design. Unsettling yet pleasing to my eyes. I like that analogy about the dresser, it's so true.
