Hiro isn't any ordinary sushi joint though. Consistently one of the best we have.

Moving down the street. I'm not sure where. She had it posted in the window while she was packing up after the holidays.

And next door, in the old Space, er, space, the Beauchamp Contemporary gallery is opening. Which, judging from their website, does not look promising.

batteredfish.ca is opening on the corner of Queen and McCaul St.--
spot, formally occupied by the hot and spicy restaurant
signage is all up.

Updating my earlier post -- window signage is now up for Clockwork Coffee and Smash Juice Bar, concepts from Rose City that will share the space.

Looks like it's actually thebatteredfish.ca

They are a chain from Nova Scotia making their first foray into Ontario.
Quite a diverse menu: fish, or clams, or scallops, and chips; burgers; tacos; poutine.
I wonder if the quality and price points will stay the same as in Nova Scotia? If thye do they would be quite competitive, though portion size comes into play for a place like this.
