This is one of the many 7-11 Storey buildungs going up along Sheppard West between Bathurst and Dufferin/Allen. Goes to show that there is a lot of development potential that add to the argument in favour of a Sheppard Subway westerly extension.

I believe this is the site I noticed driving by as being an entire block of fenced off single storey, detached 50's bungalows. I'm surprised there wasn't a NIMBY outcry.

"7-11" is also a good way of conveying the aesthetic quality of many of said buildings...

I do hope that sales go well here because if you like this project or not, it brings a positive change to the streetscape. Does anyone here know if this project shares a connection to the other 8-storey located closer to Downsview?

I beleive they are starting construction soon on this project, I say that because from a friend who was looking to buy a condo in the area said that this development was ~75% sold.
The other 8 Storey project just down the street is done by NORTH STAR HOMES which they just recently purchased the project and submitted their initial plans.
North Star, huh? Get ready for the Star of Downsview.

the two (i think, 8 storey) buildings with attached podium that just put in an application on sheppard ave W is North Star Homes.
Norstar, Norstarcan Group, Willowfield Homes, Concordian Realty Management and all other assocatied companies is a different group all together, not the ones developing the site near this site.
