Would have been cool if they tried to play off the architecture to their right. Reminds me of a recent Junction project.

Really, this is near-perfect Missing Middle, gentle main street intensification that should offend few (none, really, but there's always someone) .........and it's not merely the scale, it's real architectural quality that plays nicely with the neighbours, conveys warmth, fits into a heritage row without pastiche, looks like it will create a pretty nice ground floor space too!
