For those that now have occupancy, how was the occupancy process with the builder/lawyers etc? What do you have to pay at occupancy? Are there any fees aside from the lawyers fee? Also wondering if the elevator is working, and if the garage has been opened? Thanks!

SMD - I'm on the 6th floor and have my PDI booked for the 24th. I'd call them/email them or even Rob Falus directly. Rob to his credit, when we've talked to him, was always very professional and helpful, and got what we needed done. Worth a call.

hkidd19 - thanks so much for the update, really glad to hear it went well! Were there things that we should be watching out for? What were the appliances like (good quality etc?), and the quality of the cabinets and floors? Is the unit itself 'move in ready'? And did they give you any indication...

Phase 2 is much further along that Phase 1 was at this time last year - and if we're moving in February, I can see Phase 2 being complete in the fall. Don't know about September? Some other news - got an email to book our PDI for the 6th floor. Starting Jan 24th.

When did you hear from them about booking your Dec 7th date? I'm still waiting to hear. My occupancy is Dec 15th still (I didn't volunteer to change it) so I'm hoping to walk through ASAP. And I think SOME units will be ready for the 15th. Just not sure if all that have the 15th as their date...

it may be possible that the balconies won't be done in time for Dec occupancy, its something they may work on later since they're focused on getting everyone in by March... I haven't seen any progress on railings.

You will pay what is in your purchase agreement. It may have changed in 2009 vs 2010 vs 2011 etc. It is guaranteed for the first year of occupancy, and then it can be raised after 12 months.

Does anyone know about how the occupancy period works? Like how is the 'rent' that we pay determined, and do we have to get our own hydro accounts before moving in or is that included during occupancy?
