I think this is an advantage of placing the gate in this location rather than across a busy street... it's going to being a tourist attraction where people pose and have photos taken. Imagine people posing while cars are running beside them...... And I don't see the city pedestrianize that...

Now, after looking at all the nice photos, I feel that this building should have been designed a few storeys taller! Too bad the city would never allow it because part of the building will shadow over the Berczi Park......

I live here, and that's why I like the city. But if I were a foreigner, I don't see why I would put Toronto on the top of my traveling list. Its history is relatively less rich than a lot of North American and European cities. Its scenery is so-so when comparing to British Columbia, Quebec...

My understanding is that the neighborhood didn't even like the current height during the design process. Developers will always want to go taller so they can sell more.

I like the one on the right hand side, I assume that's the latest version. It seems more control without those balconies angling all over the place.
