A temp sign is up on a small shop next to the frozen yogurt shop on Walmer Rd. (just north of Bloor). Burrito Bandidos comes to the Annex 'in February'!

The Bagel World has been open for a few months now... service was a little shaky at first but seems to have settled down. I bought a tub of Dill cream cheese and when I got it home... it was Garlic - very strong Garlic :eek: There's an Acme Burger close to Aroma Coffee shop - not bad vege...

There's also one opening in the former Blockbuster site on Bloor in the Annex.

It's nice having the Cob's shop in the neighbourhood - particularly close for me which is great but I still frequent Harbord Bakery for breads and pastries. Cob's doesn't do bagels and their pastry selection is pretty bland and limited. Love the fresh pane de casa though ;)

I promise not to revive old posts like this but this one caught my eye... I'm not sure how many people are aware but the location of the Whole Foods store in Oakville is the previous location of the Monsanto plant. :eek: Ironic no? I used to live on Inglehart Street - long, long ago.
