    TTC Subway Track Replacement

They're going to cancel this in favor of a subway?

    TTC Subway Track Replacement

If I understood correctly, you're referring at the parts of the subway network that do not consist of the wooden railroad tie, right? Such as the stations for example?

Yes, all the above have a lot to do with this. TTC tunnels are too tight? You mean by the overcrowded stations during rush hour? Yes, this is necessary and will be very helpful. I didn't quite understand. Excavating which tunnel bottom?

Of course, to relieve congestion, a Downtown relief line would be a nice addition to the subway network. But I won't discuss this here because it's off-topic.

Ok, in this part, acceleration and deccelation of the trains and distances between the stations have a lot to do with this. The faster it accelerates and deccelerates, the shorter time it will need to reach its' top operating speed, thus it will longer travel with its' top operating speed...

@ Asterix, you overestimated this word. When I said very beneficial, I clearly meant advantages. Now, if the term "very beneficial" is overkill for the meaning of advantages, my bad. Before I continue on, in the BD line, section from Kipling to Bathurst, a distance of 10.9 kilometers and 13...

80 KMH? I didn't know that. I did hear something that they operated at 65 KMH. At least on the Sheppard line. Anyhow, regarding acceleration, yes acceleration does play an important role in speed. However, longectivity would be an advantage of this type of track and that smooth feel.

    TTC Subway Track Replacement

Yes, that's true, since that section is a straghtline. At that section, do the trains reach 80 KMH?
