You need to talk to you lawyer and discuss the clauses regarding the delivery delays for occupancy, this is under the purchase and sales agreement you signed when you bought it. It seems to be different for each buyer depending on when you signed it and when was the original date you were given...

I got a call today, they said the same that they didnt get the city clearance and it will be after Jan 20 for me to move in. I will be asking for compensation for the delay, and I asked for a new letter indicating the new final date. Have anyone heard anything different?

Adman - What date they give you to move in considering you were supposed to move on Dec 15th?. I agreed to move on Dec 29th, but I havent heard anything from them yet.

Have anyone received a letter from the builder about the final moving date?. On October 15th it will be two months before the last date they gave us , and by law if any changes they must notify 60 days in advance .

I was told we are going to get another letter with our last moving date cause not everybody can move on Dec 14, so we will be getting the letter on October. Not excited about moving in during holidays and in winter!!

Haven't they changed the occupancy date for phase 2?, for Phase 1 is Sep 2012 which probably will be delayed again.
