    Updates to PATH

I don't understand how you find something like a banal gradient so ugly. I used a sans-serif typeface. Nevertheless, it is a humanist sans-serif, so I can see how you might get confused. Besides, Optima is use prevalently throughout the city at everything from pools to offices.

    Updates to PATH

One of my aims was simplification. Having the PATH depicted realistically only adds to the confusion. I think that complexes like the TD Centre should have insert maps, like Toronto would on an Ontario road map.

    Updates to PATH

I think we can all agree the current PATH map is dysfunctional. I decided to create a redesign for the PATH map. Hopefully we'll see something more like this after this whole process: http://i.imgur.com/WwVc7.jpg

    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I don't see a point in defending the non-TTC bus terminal at Finch. Given an extension, Finch would no longer be needed to serve the Cummer, Drewry, and both Steeles busses, giving critical room to other, non-TTC bus lines. Regardless, YRT (including VIVA) wouldn't need to use it anymore...

Finch Avenue West: Opportunities for Improved Bus Service

Issue for using the hydro corridor: Spanning the G. Ross Lord Reservoir. There's no way to do it (or even do the studies) without spilling boatloads of gravy.

Finch Avenue West: Opportunities for Improved Bus Service

Given there can't be any real frequency improvements or elimination of many stops in order to create a BRT due to large amount of local traffic, the only real option to deal with the capacity is to put articulated busses on the Finch routes.

CATHEDRAL SQUARE - a second look

Any new square in Toronto should be at a 15-30º gradient for better viewing angles for performances. In this case, based on the existing design, the low point should be the fountain, in order to create an amphitheater.

Finch Avenue West: Opportunities for Improved Bus Service

There need to be studies after Finch West Station is put into service. That will heavily affect travel patterns of people going from the northwest to downtown. Things would change once again for travel patterns east once the Sheppard subway is extended to Downsview. Plus, there's always...

    Toronto 2020 Olympic Bid

The plan was a good idea. Going up against China, the birthplace of the Olympics on the 100th anniversary, and Coca-Cola wasn't.

What will the next big thing be?

There are already many major large parks in and being created in Toronto: High Park, Humber Bay Park, Queen's Park, The Valleys, Brickworks, Downsview, West Donlands, etc. Our parks just need to be further aestheticized.

What will the next big thing be?

Although the process has already started, the next big thing may be the densification of arterials in the inner suburbs.

    Toronto 2020 Olympic Bid

Toronto, now, wouldn't need to do much to receive the Summer Olympics, other than put together a campaign. Between Exhibition Place, the Metro Convention Centre, UofT, York, Downsview, Rogers Centre, and the ACC, we have all the venues necessary to host events (however, we may need contractors...
