RBC Centre (LEED Gold, CadFair, 41s, KPF/B+H/&Co.) COMPLETE

I would not count Union (Telus) Tower out of the race yet. It is a smaller building which gives it an advantage in that aspect. BAC will be last

It's too early to throw in the towel just yet on RBC as BA's core will likely be concrete as well

p.s. Trump and MaRS have been previously mentioned as steel

I think steel is more interesting from a construction aspect.

Steel is mainly used for taller office proposals, however Scotia Plaza was constructed with concrete. I believe the benefits of steel for office construction have to to with interior flexibilty when it comes to set up and design. Also Steel buildings can rise much faster than concrete ones.

Residential projects usually use concrete because of sound buffering capabilities.

They're planning to build the tallest Lego tower ever - 28 metres - at the CNE starting tomorrow. Hurry down there, grey!

They could be way too exciting and make all kinds of speculative loans that would drown them in red ink. Then we could all be broke, but still have the momentary pleasure of watching those Aston Martins and the like being repo'd.

Way fun!
