BAC is LEED certified and the glass doesnt appear transparent so i doubt it.

No, the other windows in the 80's office tower are just tinted. The new trend is obviously for clear glass. Low-e glazing on the glass helps out with maximizing the R-Value of the window hence why it's used in most LEED projects.
