We educate legal professionals and global citizens. Today legal issues emerge in an international context. Our students and faculty members must have the resources they need to remain at the forefront of scholarship, education and outreach.
The expanded facilities will be a superb forum for learning, teaching, research and debate. The additional space will enhance the JD and graduate programs including the Global Professional Master of Laws program and the Internationally Trained Lawyers Program.
New classrooms will permit a wider range of course offerings, more dynamic interaction between students and professors, enhanced faculty research synergies, and deeper professional and community engagement.
The renovated Bora Laskin Law Library will include upgraded technology and research tools, quiet areas for reading and research and group study rooms.
Additional social space will ensure a more dynamic and engaging academic environment, an enhanced student experience, more clubs, meetings and events, opportunities for interaction among students from across Canada and around the world, lifelong friendships and associations and more effective academic, financial and career services.
Since 1887, the Faculty of Law has educated leaders of boundless vision. The expansion of our facilities will strengthen this great tradition and build a world-class environment for Canada’s pre-eminent law school. You can be part of it.
