Redevelopment of Market Street in Toronto, undertaken by Woodcliffe Properties. The redevelopment includes 87 Front Street East, 118 The Esplanade, and 8, 10-12 Market Street, with at-grade and second floor retail and restaurants. The proposal calls for the pedestrianization of the street in order to accentuate the public realm and reinvigorate the lower floor of the St. Lawrence Market. Taylor Smyth Architects have designed a modern building on the northwest corner of Market Street and The Esplanade.
