Bentall Kennedy’s end-to-end property development expertise begins with initial development assessment, feasibility and financial analysis through design, development and construction management. Our development philosophy extends beyond the edifice and into the surrounding communities where our buildings realize their true potential.

Our experience tells us that buildings that produce less waste, run more efficiently, and care for the well-being of their occupants generally outperform assets that fall short in this regard. The Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), which surveys over 970,000 assets valued at $3.7 trillion, ranks Bentall Kennedy first overall in sustainability in Canada and second globally in our category.

Bentall Kennedy is Sun Life Financial's exclusive and wholly owned real estate investment management and services platform. At the end of 2018, Bentall Kennedy announced its merger with GreenOak Real Estate. Upon closure of the deal, Bentall GreenOak will include investment professionals in 14 offices in North America, and 7 offices internationally, with deep local knowledge and strong, long-standing investment track records across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
