The Spirit Garden on the west side of Nathan Phillps Square at Toronto City Hall offers something new to experience at nighttime. Solomon King's limestone turtle sculpture glows in the middle of the new reflecting pool in a changing spectrum of colours as evenings progress in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Paclo. North American is conceptualized as Turtle Island in many Indigenous traditions, with the installation here giving visitors the opportunity to consider outlooks other than what they may have encountered before.
