Work to build the Ontario Line 3 subway is taking place in pockets here and there across Toronto, and one of the more recent sites to see activity is just east of Cherry Street, immediately adjacent to the Don Yard and Union Station Rail Corridor. In this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor globalexpress, three shoring rigs line up where a wall will be built that will lead down to where the Ontario Line will plunge underground and head for Downtown. To the left, the Ontario Line will follow the north side of the Lakeshore GO corridor as far as Carlaw, after which it will plunge underground again before heading north to Pape and on the Don Mills.
