UrbanToronto has been keeping an eye on the ongoing construction at the The Residences at Central Park site in the Bayview Village area of North York. UrbanToronto recently spoke with Ashling Evans, General Manager of Development at Amexon Development Corporation, and toured the sales office for an in-person look at the amenities and in-suite offerings from II BY IV DESIGN.

Catering to the evolving needs of professionals who are increasingly working remotely is a Co-Working Studio. Evans noted that "this light and bright space appeals to purchasers, especially those embracing a hybrid work model. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology." This includes hot desks, communal tables, private meeting rooms, and a business centre, all designed to inspire and facilitate collaboration.

A fully equipped gym is waiting for residents at The Park Club which will contain 55,000 ft² of space dedicated to fitness and wellness, exercise studios, and two saltwater pools. The development’s emphasis on connecting with nature is seen in the panoramic windows that fill the space with natural light.

From the pedestrian experience with its array of shops and cafes to the lounges and event spaces, the development aims to create community-centric spaces. Additional amenities include a children's playground, golf simulator, bowling alley, and pet grooming area.

When it comes to their units, residents can choose from a variety of design-driven suites, with floor-to-ceiling windows and large balconies. The Loft Collection suites boast 9-foot-6-inch painted ceilings in principal rooms, with custom-designed, solid-core entrance doors for added security and sound insulation. Evans highlights “the very deep balconies, and that residents will be able to select from various hardwoods, stones, and other high-end finishes."

Each suite is equipped with a high-efficiency, individually controlled air conditioning and heating system, along with individual metering of electricity and water promoting energy sustainability. The large balconies provide frosted or clear glass sliding doors, depending on the unit, along with balconies that include weatherproof electrical outlets, allowing for a variety of outdoor activities.

Further options for residents include the range of designer laminate flooring. The suites' colour palettes will feature warm tones further enhanced by the natural light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. In the principal bedroom, residents will find fully built-out laminate cabinets.
