Thanks to UrbanToronto Forum contributor TwinHuey and his drone, we're getting a vastly different view of exactly the same subject as yesterday's pic o' the day, and that's the car wash at 2388 Danforth in Toronto's East End. Slated for redevelopment sometime in the future, the low-rise structure and its large paved lot out front no longer make economic sense in a city where land values have skyrocketed and which is densifying so quickly… but while we wait to hear what will be proposed here, the place still has a nostalgic charm, especially under a light blanket of snow.
