In the way the CN Tower seems to pop up unexpectedly on the Toronto skyline, even when you're miles away from it, the Absolute World towers perform a similar feat in Mississauga. While they are no longer the tallest towers in this west GTA city, their silhouettes — even when the lower levels are blocked from view like in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor elevaTOr — are truly iconic on the Mississauga skyline. The blue lighting on their "bottle cap" tops draws the eyes by night.
