Typically when the sun goes down, you don't expect to see it reflected on the east wall of a building, but Toronto has enough glass towers now that reflect the setting sun back to the west, that east walls do end up bathed in late day light at times. In the image below by UrbanToronto Forum contributor yrt+viva=1system, the east wall of Festival Tower is bathed in light bouncing a nearby building, likely one in the Simcoe and Wellington streets area. In the future, it may be Forma that pics up the rays, as its two towers will fill in much of the space between Festival Tower and Theatre Park, in the left foreground.
