The LCBO's former headquarters and warehouse on Lake Shore Boulevard just east of Yonge Street, from where LCBO retail and wholesale orders alike were once fulfilled, is now a scene of destruction as the site is prepared for the construction of Menkes' Sugar Wharf Phase 2 Condominiums. UrbanToronto Forum contributor mburrrrr has caught quite the striking image of the warehouse coming down, with the glow of more modern buildings lighting up the nighttime sky behind it.
