The Canadian will only be crossing Wallace Avenue for a few more weeks… at grade at least, and then up it'll go onto the new viaduct it's seen running beside in this recent image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor ProjectEnd. This major new piece of infrastructure — the Davenport Diamond Grade Separation — is a part of what's needed to bring two-way all-day GO service to the Barrie line, and a smoother escape for this cross-country train as it departs Toronto for Vancouver.
