This past Lunar New Year week started with a celebratory bang for First Class Realty, as the brokerage gathered together for their annual end-of-year party, the First Class Awards Gala. Hosted on Monday evening at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel in Richmond Hill, the event marked the third anniversary of the recurring ceremony, and the return to in-person festivities after the Pandemic hiatus.
The Gala brought together First Class Realty’s extensive roster of brokers as well as a number of sponsors who have worked closely with the brokerage to secure financing for developments through the sale of pre-construction homes. Among the developers represented at the event were some familiar names like Collecdev, The Daniels Corporation, Fora Developments, Graywood Developments, Menkes, Alterra Development, Pinnacle, Capital Developments and CentreCourt, while several other sponsors from the legal and financial industries were present as well.
The event is a multi-purpose ceremony for First Class Realty, who take the opportunity to honour the accomplishments of their agents over the course of the previous year while also celebrating Lunar New Year - in style. The night began with opening speeches from the company’s founders, Shan Feng and Hody Zhu, before moving on to the awards.
A host of awards were given out to the brokerage’s team of agents over the course of the evening, recognizing different levels of success for different groups. Individual agents were recognized for their accomplishments with awards in three tiers: gold, diamond, and platinum. Awards were also given to teams of agents, recognizing the brokerage’s top team, champion team, and champion resale team.
Interspersed between the various awards were other programming highlights, like a raffle, and a lion dance, a traditional Lunar New Year activity that added a lively break to the more formal event, along with speeches from sponsors.
First Class Realty was founded in 2019, and has evolved quickly to become one of the City’s leading brokerages. On an individual level, First Class’s agents preside over an average of 10 transactions a year, and collectively, the company has been a key player in facilitating the financing for some of the premier developments in Toronto in the last three years.
