Construction has progressed substantially at the site of Minto Communities GTA's condo project at 123 Portland Street in Toronto's Fashion District. The 14-storey boutique luxury condo designed by Sweeny &Co Architects has been underway on the corner of Portland and Adelaide streets since mid-2020. Since we last checked in on the project, the building has risen about three quarters of its eventual total above grade, not far off from its final 14th level.

Our last update on the project nearly a year ago covered what was going on below grade at the development, with the lowest P3 level, and the majority of the P2 level above having just been fully formed. Forming was in the process of advancing to the P1 level, where walls and columns were pictured sitting just shy of grade. Now with the structure well above grade, crews are working on forming the 11th and 12th levels, the third and fourth beyond the step-back.

With only a few more levels to go, we will likely see cladding and glazing begin to be installed in the coming months.

Upon completion, the project will bring 117 new condominium units to the Fashion District, with residents having access to a wide selection of amenity spaces appointed by interior designers U31.
