As Mizrahi DevelopmentsThe One grows taller and taller, it becomes increasingly difficult for our talented Forum contributors to capture photographs of the latest site activity from the ground. Luckily for all of us, we have contributors with aerial perches above the site for top-down views, and now through drones, footage can be gathered from up higher up – giving us a an overall look at what is happening on the uppermost levels of the site. First Class Drones recently flew over The One, and shared a unique perspective of the project with UrbanToronto.

Taking a closer look through the lens of our Forum contributor Benito, crews have formed the walls of the 8th level, and are assembling forms for the 9th level slab and extensions of the supercolumns. The last floor was completed in just over a week, which we covered in our last story. The levels are progressing quickly now, as the same forms can be reused to form the walls and floors of the repeating hotel levels again until construction reaches the 17th floor, when new forms will be needed to create the two mechanical levels between the hotel and condo sections.

As for the corners of the tower, rebar is being laid in preparation for pours which should begin to occur in the near future.
