You don't have to be aiming your camera at a landmark to get a great shot of Toronto; sometimes it's just the layers of the city itself that can make for an impressive view. UrbanToronto Forum contributor Red Mars caught this look at the ever-condofying Entertainment District where century-old, masonry-clad office buildings and warehouses are the foreground to an ever-glassier backdrop. In this case, Graywood's Peter and Adelaide development — the building with the crane atop it — is adding some colour as it is being framed in masonry too, even if its precast panels are not hand-laid brick and stone like the older stock in the area.
