A new development is on the horizon for Toronto's western borough of Etobicoke. Located in a revitalizing area between Islington subway station and charming Islington Village at 60 Central Park Roadway, Westerly 2 will be the second phase in Tridel and Hollyburn Properties' Westerly Community. Standing 27-storeys tall, the new Kirkor Architects and Planners-designed condominium tower will offer 354 spacious suites with 9-ft ceilings and interiors by II by IV Design

At Westerly 2, suite types will vary, with one, two, and three-bedroom units available, ranging from 482 to 872ft² in area. The building will also feature a generous selection of amenities, including a multipurpose room, a fitness studio and yoga room, a media lounge, a co-working lounge for people who work from home, and a pet wash area.

The development will be well situated for all types of travel, whether it be cycling, riding the TTC, or driving. With close proximity to Islington subway station, the core of the city can be reached in just 20 minutes, while Pearson Airport is a short ride away via the Airport Rocket from the nearby Kipling Transit Hub, which will also offers MiWay transit to Mississauga and GO Trains east to Union and west to Milton. For those who drive, the condo is close to several highways including the 401, 427, the QEW, and Gardiner Expressway.

Westerly 2 will also give residents connections to nature, with nearly every unit featuring a balcony, and parks a short distance from the building that follow Mimico Creek down to the lakeshore. The condo is also moments from Islington Golf Club, and a short subway ride to both the Humber River parks and recreational trail, and to High Park.

Other nearby points of interest include Sherway Gardens mall and Bloor West Village, both a short distance from the Westerly Community, both featuring great places to eat, shop, and walk around.

Another community hub soon to rise in the area at Kipling and Dundas is a brand new Etobicoke Civic Centre. Encompassing 360,000ft², it will house city staff offices and council chambers, a library, art gallery, community recreation centre, and child care facilities.
