Over the next couple of years, Yorkwoods Condos will be bringing some significant change to Toronto's Jane and Sheppard neighbourhood. Designed by AAA Architects Inc. for CTN Developments, the condo will be located at 2839 Jane Street in Toronto's borough of North York. Our last story introduced the development and its close proximity to community hot spots including green spaces, malls, restaurants, and transit. Now, we take a look at what is planned for inside the future condo, featuring interiors designed in-house by CTN.

Yorkwoods will be fitted with a combined total of nearly 11,500 ft² of indoor and outdoor amenity space for residents to use and enjoy. The ground level of the building will feature 24-hour concierge, a mailroom, dedicated space for parcel storage, and an off-leash dog area for residents with pets.

The building will also be home to two separate rooftop terraces with the second floor terrace offering a fitness room, a multipurpose room, a dining space, and a barbecue area. A little higher up, the top floor roof will feature one outdoor and two indoor play spaces for children, a party room, a common dining space, and a barbecue counter.

The units planned for the development range from studios, to three bedroom plus den suites, and vary in area from 464ft² to 1,109ft². The open-concept floor plan and abundance of windows leaves units of all sizes feeling spacious and bright.

The building and its amenities will also contribute to not only the prosperity of residents, but also of the surrounding community. The development conforms to "Places to Grow," a provincial act designed to promote economic growth, increase housing supply and infrastructure, create jobs, and build communities that make life easier, healthier, more accessible, and affordable for residents.

Yorkwoods Condos were designed with the growth plan in mind, helping shape the community towards the future. The condos are just one part of the growing revitalization and infrastructure that will be coming to the area, adding to what is already in existence.

A subsequent story will delve deeper into the specific pulls to the community that will surround Yorkwoods Condos, and make the neighbourhood not only a desirable place to call home, but also a prime example of the growth plan's principles.

Upon completion the development will stand 13 storeys tall, and house 190 units with three levels of underground parking space. It is planned to join the neighbourhood by 2024.
