The Jane Exbury Towers are a group of five well-known landmarks in northwestern Toronto, designed by Estonian-Canadian architect Uno Prii and constructed in 1969. Prii brought expression to Modernism through sculptural forms, seeking to give each building, or set of buildings, a unique identity and sense of place, qualities that would enhance the quality of life in them. Most often photographed together in a way that shows their prominent north and south elevations, the Jane Exbury complex's 190 Exbury Road tower stands alone in today's Daily Photo, its largely windowless west facade captured in this view by Forum contributor DavidCapizzano.
