As real estate prices remain sky-high across Toronto, pockets of the city like Scarborough's West Hill neighbourhood offer comparative affordability, attracting a range of demographics like young professionals and students of nearby educational institutions. Among the projects bringing new homes to the area, Perch Condominiums is an 11-storey, Core Architects-designed building from Firmland Developments Corp, named for its perch above the natural setting of the Highland Creek valley.

We've already taken a look at various features of the project, including its amenities and interiors appointed by Cecconi Simone, and several of its 163 condominium suites in another story. Also among the suites on offer are a limited collection of townhome units that feature private direct entrances and landscaped frontages onto the Kingston Road sidewalk. While much of the marketing for the development centres around the building's natural setting above the Highland Creek to the north, these townhomes offer a more urban experience on a stretch that will witness an urbanization in the coming years.

A floor plan of one of the five townhomes offers a taste of what is on offer here, with a two-bedroom + den, two-bathroom home listed on the project's website. Spanning two floors, this plan boasts 1,029 ft² of indoor living space—including a master bedroom with a huge walk-in closet and ensuite—plus a ground-floor patio 143 ft² in area, for a total living space of 1,172 ft².

In addition to their street-front entrances, townhome units will also have doors that open on the ground-floor corridor, providing residents with quick access to the building's suite of ground-floor amenities, or a short elevator ride up to the rooftop patio amenity, or down to the parking garage below.
