On a clear day, south-facing views from Downtown Toronto high-rise buildings offer a view of the distant skyline of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Today's Daily Photo, shot by Forum contributor mburrrr, covers the approximate 65-kilometre distance between the two city skylines. Looking over the Toronto Islands and Lake Ontario, the Niagara Escarpment rises high above the lake's southern shore and acts as a pedestal for the silhouettes of Niagara Falls' high-rise casinos and iconic Skylon Tower, with even the rising mist of the falls visible.
