Northern Oakville's emerging Uptown Core is growing quickly with higher-density housing and commercial, and the gaps are being filled in with lower-density uses among the emerging neighbourhoods. One such area is the Joshua Creek community, just to the southeast of the Dundas Street and Trafalgar Road intersection, where Menkes Developments is building their new Glen Ashton Estates subdivision.

Already under construction, sales are continuing for the project's collection of 48 detached homes available in two- and three-storey models, on lots ranging from 42' to 51' wide. The new homes will line a new street, John Laird Circle, accessed via Coronation Drive, inserted between two existing residential subdivisions.

13 different home layouts are available on the project's website, along with a series of renderings revealing the range of traditional exterior selections by architects RN Design. Homes are being built in a variety of sizes from 2,682 ft² to 3,937 ft², priced starting at $1.599 m.

For a look inside of the residences and a look at their fully-realized interiors by Gordana Car Design, Menkes has produced a video tour of a model home for their Livingston span, which offers 48' homes including four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, at 3,865 ft² in area.
