A Tower-in-the-Park-style property in northwest Toronto with two rental apartment buildings on it is being intensified with a new project from iKore Developments. On the south side of Lawrence Avenue west of Keele Street is the site of 7 On The Park, a 21-storey, 216-unit condominium development, designed by Richmond Architects, and now under construction.

Work has been under way since Spring, 2019 when the expansive green space between the existing towers was cleared to make way for shoring rigs. Shoring and then excavation continued into early 2020, when the pit bottomed out ten metres below grade. A tower crane has since been installed, allowing forming to begin for the foundations and P3 parking level.

The three-level garage now taking shape is set to contain a gross floor area of 1,786 m², housing 250 parking spaces in a mix of 213 resident spaces and 43 visitor spaces (including six parking spaces to be built at grade). Forming of the garage levels will continue for a few months before the project reaches grade along Lawrence Avenue West, after which the 17,386.6 m² building will begin its rise to an eventual height of 67.7 metres.

7 On The Park will bring added residential density to the block, while turning the complex from an exclusively rental community into a mixed-tenure complex. Once complete, the building will bring 216 condominium units in a mix of 53 one-bedrooms, 127 two-bedrooms, and 36 three-bedrooms.
