A 16-year redevelopment of the six-acre Liberty Market Complex in Toronto's Liberty Village neighbourhood has entered its third and final phase, with the ongoing construction of Lifetime DevelopmentsLiberty Market Tower. The final addition to the site is a Wallman Architects-designed 28-storey, mixed-use tower will bring 281 luxury condominium units, as well as office and retail space to the site on East Liberty Street.

We last checked in on construction four months ago, when Lifetime was launching sales for the already underway project, as the uppermost level was being formed for the building's 3.5-level, 298-space underground garage. In the months since, construction has advanced considerably, with crews now forming the fourth floor of the building's eight-storey podium.

Views from the top of the rising podium show floor forms in place for the fourth floor, as crews lay bundles of rebar and electrical conduits in advance of an upcoming concrete pour. Vertical sections of rebar mark the location where the previous floor's supporting columns will connect with the fourth floor columns.

Concrete is already in place for sections of this level, with floors in place as well as the first walls and columns.

As construction progresses, Lifetime is offering limited time incentives to drive sales. These incentives include adjusted deposit structure timelines that give purchasers more flexibility, and special offers including an included storage locker, reduced parking price, credit on signing, and 4% and 5% commission for one-to-to-bedroom and three-bedroom units respectively.

Occupancy is currently scheduled to begin in August, 2021.
