Across from the 2016-completed 133 Hazelton, another project from Mizrahi Developments is now in the later stages of construction at 128 Hazelton Avenue. The pair frame the north end of Hazelton Avenue where it empties onto Davenport Road from Toronto's Yorkville neighbourhood. The nine-storey luxury condominium designed by AUDAX architecture topped out at a height of 38 metres last year, and cladding has been gradually enclosing the building, in advance of its completion slated for later this year.

The building's exterior is a more modern take on the Paris-inspired design of the two Mizrahi-built condominiums to the east. While the limestone colour, massing, and materials are similar, the precast concrete panels on the new building feature deep bevels and frame expansive windows with operable side panes or Juliet balconies. The glazing, though, is nearly fully installed, allowing more intensive work to progress on finishing the suite interiors and common areas in preparation for the first residents.

Above, cladding installation continues on the exterior of the uppermost residential level and the mechanical penthouse level, where renderings depict a darker finish will be applied. These areas are currently sporting a bright yellow weatherproof membrane.

Upon completion, the building will bring a limited collection of just 18 luxury condominium units to the Yorkville neighbourhood in a mix of 5 one-bedrooms, 8 two-bedrooms, and 5 three-bedrooms, anchored by new ground level retail fronting onto the corner of Davenport and Hazelton.
