Tridel's Islington Terrace development is bringing a major infusion of height to the area north of Islington subway station in the Toronto borough of Etobicoke. Under construction since Summer 2016, the Kirkor Architects-designed condominium complex is bringing three towers to Cordova Avenue, with heights of 35, 45, and 44 storeys. The central tower, the tallest, is now wrapping up construction, while the two flanking towers are in varying stages of construction.

Of the two shorter towers, the 35-storey second phase tower, known as Bloorvista, is much further along. The building topped out at a height of 114 metres, or 373 feet, last Fall, and the installation of exterior finishes has been progressing since the start of 2019. Finishes matching the taller first phase tower—a mix of precast framing and window wall cladding—now stretch up to Bloorvista's 29th floor.

To the east of the 45-storey tower, the complex's third phase tower—known as Bloor Promenade—will rise 44 storeys. The most recent of the three to begin construction, Bloor Promenade saw the completion of shoring and excavation late last year, and in the months since, the first walls and columns have risen above grade. Bloor Vista will rise from an extension of the podium that links all three towers.

Over at the practically-complete central tower, Tridel recently released a video coinciding with the start of pre-delivery inspections for unit owners. The video features several of the building’s interiors, including a glimpse at some of the completed amenity spaces that will be available to residents.
