Eight cranes are working away at the enormous Spadina and Front site of The Well, currently the largest active construction site in Toronto, while spots for two more are currently being set up. Various developers and architects are working on the new community's various components, which include three Wallman Architects-designed condominium buildings being constructed for Tridel along the north side of the block. Among them at the northwest corner of the site, a 14-storey luxury boutique condo building to rise along Wellington Street, to known as The Well Signature Series.
The Signature Series is bringing just under 100 suites in two-bedroom and two-bedroom+den layouts ranging in area from 1,106 ft² to 2,297 ft², plus three-bedroom and three-bedroom+den layouts measuring from 1,869 ft² to 2,622 ft², and even larger Grand Penthouse suites. As marketing for them progresses, we're getting new details about some of the different suite types and layouts available to purchasers, including the newly-revealed Suite 2AA+ST.
Priced at $3.55 million, the two-bedroom+den layout on the building's 7th floor offers approximately 2,350 ft² of living space, including three bathrooms and a powder room. A generously-sized open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area includes a centre kitchen island and Miele appliances. The large floor area of the suite allows for features less common to Toronto's more compact condo offerings, including an ensuite bathroom with free-standing tub, a walk-in pantry, and a full room dedicated to laundry and storage.
The suite takes advantage of its position along the eastern arm of the building’s U-shaped footprint with a pair of outdoor spaces overlooking a revitalized Wellington Street. A private balcony will be tucked into the building's U-shaped indentation, while a much larger terrace occupies the space above tower's first stepback atop the sixth floor.
