Minto Communities is gearing up for the launch of their new Downtown Toronto project 'The Saint.' Named as a nod to its location on Church Street and the adjacent St Lawrence neighbourhood, the project brings a 47-storey, Wallman Architects-designed tower to the neighbourhood. Initially proposed as a rental tower in 2016 by Cityzen, the site was subsequently sold to Minto, who have switched the tenure to condos.

Now in the run-up to launch, details of the project are being released, including information about its wide selection of wellness-inspired amenities in spaces appointed by figure3 Interior Design which aim to create a transition between the hustle and bustle of urban living and the private tranquility of residents' homes.

These amenities, which we'll take a closer look at in the near future, feature a distinctly Japanese design theme, a language that will carry over to the condominium suites themselves. The suites' interior design blends form and function with clean lines and functionality. Examples include kitchens with ample storage space and practical layouts.

Several efficiency features are being incorporated into the development, part of Minto's commitment to introducing more sustainable buildings that consume fewer natural resources, minimize waste, and cut down on greenhouse gas emissions. Innovative HVAC, energy recovery, and water efficient plumbing systems are to be incorporated into the project, features that we will take a closer look at in a future article.
