The long-term revitalization of Toronto's Regent Park neighbourhood is bringing another two-tower complex to the area, this one under construction at the northwest corner of Dundas and River Streets. Artworks Tower by The Daniels Corporation has been under construction since the end of 2018, and the underground levels are now being formed for the Quadrangle-designed development with 11- and 33-storey condominium towers.

Following the start of construction in November, 2018, excavators graded the site for the early-2019 start of shoring, which was followed by excavation, the erection of a pair of tower cranes, and then commencement of work on the project's foundations and the lowest level of the three-level underground garage.

When we last checked in on the early stages of underground forming, crews were working on the initial walls and supporting columns of P3, the lowest parking level. Large sections of the P3 level are now complete, and by mid-October, crews were laying down the first floor forms in advance of concrete pours for the southeast corner of the P2 parking level above.

Once P1 has also been formed, the garage will house 355 parking spaces for residents, their visitors, and retail patrons. The project's soon-to-rise towers will eventually reach heights of 42 and 106 metres, respectively containing 110 and 330 condominium units.
