New density is popping up all along Mississauga's north-south spine in advance of the new Hurontario LRT line. At Nahani Way, walking distance from the future Eglinton stop on the LRT, construction is in full swing on Mississauga Square, where Plaza's Turner Fleischer Architects-designed condominium and townhome development is now rising above street level. This new density is rising just across Hurontario from the Pinnacle Uptown Perla Towers, seen on the left, below, the taller of which will top out at 34 storeys.

Construction started on the 33-storey Mississauga Square in mid-2018 with the arrival of drilling rigs for the site's shoring system. After crews dug down three storeys, a tower crane was installed in late 2018, and work on forming the underground levels started. A second tower crane was installed shortly thereafter, and by the end of this past August, the underground garage was fully formed as work was getting going on the ground floor.

Work has since advanced as high as the third floor, which will be the final podium level before the slender tower footprint begins. A two-storey section of the podium—which will be occupied by two-storey townhomes—is now structurally complete, with individual townhome frontages clearly articulated by their concrete shells along the site's Nahani Way frontage.

The 313,496 ft² development will eventually bring 404 new homes to a stretch of Hurontario Street with a bright future, where rapid urbanization and a new LRT line are quickly changing the landscape just north of Mississauga's Downtown.
