Two new towers are rising into the Downtown Mississauga skyline, the latest phase in The Daniels Corporation's City Centre community at Confederation Parkway and City Centre Drive. Wesley Tower at Daniels City Centre kicked off construction roughly two years ago, and the two-tower, Rafael + Bigauskas Architects-designed condominium complex's towers are now rapidly growing towards heights of 43 and 19 storeys.

We last checked in on the project in mid-September, when the 43-storey tower stood 12 storeys high above the site’s Confederation Parkway frontage. In the weeks since, the taller tower now has its 16th level formed. The 19-storey tower had risen over halfway to the top as of last month, sitting at 11 storeys' dn it has since grown to the 16th level as well.

As they rise taller, the towers' angled facades have become more prominent. Still awaiting finishes, the tower volumes are depicted in renderings with translucent balcony guards framing clear reveal sections. Cladding installation has gradually been enclosing the complex's shared five-storey podium since August. A mix of brick panels and a window wall cladding system form the podium exterior, with the window wall system consisting of a mix of clear glazing as well as both black and white spandrel and aluminum mullions.

With finishes now sealing off the majority of the podium, and we can expect to soon see the tower finishes materialize.
