One of several large-scale residential developments on tap for Midtown Toronto's Yonge and Eglinton area, Line 5 Condos from Reserve Properties and Westdale Properties is bringing a 930-unit complex in two towers of 33 and 36 storeys to Broadway Avenue, a couple blocks northeast of Eglinton station and its interchange with the future namesake Line 5 Crosstown LRT. Within the IBI Group-designed complex, residents will enjoy a wide array of amenities spread across three floors of the towers' shared podium. We’ve already taken a look at a few of the project’s amenities, and today we’re back for a closer look at the many features that will be available to residents upon move-in.
Concentrated on the ground floor, 7th floor, and the 9th floor podium rooftop, indoor amenities at Line 5 Condos are appointed by interior designer U31, while the landscaping of outdoor amenities is designed by Brook McIlroy.
Starting on the ground floor, residents' and visitors’ first taste of the U31-appointed interiors will be the two-storey lobby space with its concierge service and mix of brass and marble accents. In addition to amenities like a pet spa, a fitness centre, an outdoor yoga and zen garden, steam and sauna rooms and a spa, a number of other features will be located on the ground floor, including a Juice & Coffee Bar, dedicated Uber and Lyft pick-up and drop-off zones, and hot and cold food delivery storage lockers.
Up on the seventh floor of the podium's shorter eastern volume, an indoor-outdoor amenity area is set to include a party lounge with a catering kitchen opening up onto an outdoor barbecue and dining lounge. This floor will also feature an indoor art studio, as well as an outdoor theatre and firepit lounge.
On the 9th floor, residents will find a mix of spaces including 'The Social Club,' a flexible amenity that serves as a shared work space by day and a networking spot at night. This amenity will feature another outdoor barbecue and dining lounge, and an indoor communal dining table and demo kitchen. This floor will also be home to an area called 'The Library Lounge' offering quiet study and reading space, as well as an outdoor games lounge.
